On Tuesday 7 March, Members of the Senedd will debate and vote on amendments tabled during Stage 3 of the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Bill’s journey through the Senedd.
We have produced a summary of the changes made to the Bill at Stage 2, which took place in the Equality and Social Justice Committee on 23 January 2023.
The Welsh Government describes the Bill as; “a framework to enhance the well-being of the people of Wales by improving public services through social partnership working, promoting fair work and social responsible public procurement”.
The Bill and Explanatory Memorandum are published on the Senedd website. Our Bill Summary, published before the Stage 1 Plenary debate in November 2022, explains what the Bill does and the key issues raised during Stage 1 scrutiny.
You can watch the proceedings for the Stage 3 debate live on Senedd TV on 7 March.
