The Legislation (Procedure, Publication and Repeals) (Wales) Bill forms part of the Welsh Government’s programme to improve the accessibility of Welsh law.
It proposes bringing together and formalising the procedural arrangements for making Welsh subordinate legislation and the requirements for publishing Welsh legislation. It also seeks to improve the accessibility of the law by repealing and amending provisions and enactments in relation to Wales that are no longer of practical utility or benefit, and makes minor amendments to the Legislation (Wales) Act 2019.
This Bill Summary provides an overview of the provisions in the Bill, and signposts to where further information can be found.
