The White Paper put forward proposals to reform local bus services, taxi and Private Hire Vehicle licensing and arrangements for regional transport planning in Wales. The Welsh Government is proceeding with bus reform only. The paper also describes recent UK and Scottish legislation on bus services as a comparison ahead of the anticipated Bus Services (Wales) Bill.
