As part of my job I am paid to pay attention to, interact with and participate in formal political activities (i.e. I’m a politician/political staff/journalist/lobbyist/work for a think tank, NGO).
I have a great deal/quite a lot of interest in politics: I often discuss politics with friends, family and fellow workers. I access political news via the internet, TV, newspaper or radio daily.
I have some interest in politics: I sometimes discuss politics with friends family and fellow workers. I access political news via the internet, TV, newspaper or radio on a weekly basis. I have a fair amount of political knowledge.
I don’t have much/have no interest in politics: I rarely/never discuss politics with friends family and fellow workers. I access political news via the internet, TV, newspaper or radio less than once a week, I don’t know much at all about politics.
